PD: It's funny talking among forum members in English
Hi zack II, in this case you can't contract "I have". You only do that when you are talking about past perfect tenses, not present tenses. For instance:
I have lived in Spain for two years = I've lived in Spain for two years. I have been working a lot lately = I've been working a lot lately I have a good English level =I've a good English level And by the way, I think it would sound better if you say "I have a good level of English".
Cheers,

In fact, sounds better if you say, "I have a good English level".

Sorry... I used "I have" instead of "I have got". That is right, isn't it? And I think I can contract "I have" in "I've". Can't I?

I have gotten. How pspCaracas you only can contract "I have" when you use a past perfect tense.

According to
http://dictionary.cambridge.org/diction ... tish/get_1 :
get/got/gotten (American English) get/got/got (British English) PS: This thread is turning into "Learn English, no matter what!" thread...

It sounds to me like you were talking about different languages levels, eg: English level, French level, Spanish level.
But you're the one who lives in USA...I've never been into an English spoken country...so...
